This is Boggie

Boggie (Bo-gie) is a golden brown, seven (7) year old Maltipoo pup. He may be small in size but his little body packs a huge personality. He loves a good cuddle, snacks and sticking his snout in shopping bags.

I have been photographing Boggie for years. He is, in my opinion, the best boy in the entire world, however, this could be a biased opinion considering I am his human. He is my number one supporter and the reason I decided to take a shot at Animal Photography.

His favourite things to do include laying in the sun and guilting people into sharing their food with him. His dislikes include the vacuum cleaner, the blow dryer and birds sitting in his yard. Boggie loves to tag along with me on little adventures. From driving around seeing new places, to hiking through trails, he is always by my side.

I love shooting outdoors, really anywhere that has large amounts of colour. With Boggies golden fur colour he always stands out in a photo regardless of what setting I’ve placed him in. Boggie is incredibly well-tempered and patient especially while I’m shooting pictures. Even when he’s tired or annoyed he’ll still do anything for a treat and a belly rub. Although he does not like wearing costumes, we’ve managed to have a few shoots with him dressed up with fun headbands or puppy t-shirts. My favourite shoot is the one we did with him wearing a bed sheet like a ghost.
